Am I a first time buyer?

Options
Hi, I currently own a property which is rented out. (This is in my name only). Me and my husband are looking into buying a property together. Would we be classed as 1st time buyers ?

I wouldn't call you a first time buyer,
but then what do i know.
I think 'cos you already own a property you'd be classed as a second time buyer.

Its unlikely to make any difference in terms of deals available but I wouldnt class you as a first time buyer.

I think the fact that you are even asking the question probably means you aren't, don't you?

What percentage deposit do you have for the new property?

Is the rented property on a Buy to Let mortgage or Consent to Let?

Not first time buyers as you own a property.
