Well it's been a while! Payday came, and I started the journey on to clearing some of the debt. Paid off Equita, so that's a start, and have made a small dent in 4 of the other debts.
In other news we're going camping next week, we've not had a holiday in a looooong time! So, my challenge has been to try and raise as much cash as possible so we don't eat into the bank account- so far I've raised £180!! I'm pretty pleased! I'm hoping to raise a bit more over this week. I've sent a few bits off to Music magpie, about £15 worth of stuff, and although we won't get it in time, it might help at the end of the month!!
Because of the holiday I've ended up only paying the minimum off the next account, and I've not yet started the saving for Xmas, but I thought I'd see where we are after we get back and we've only got a couple of weeks of the month left, and start then.
I'm feeling pretty pleased, managed to do a few nice bits with the children this summer so far and we've not broken the bank, hoping to keep costs down again this week with some cheap and free stuff to do.
