OR asking for proof after BR but can't provide it?

My OH has had a letter from the OR asking for proof of his expenditure.
He called and explained he has no proof that he can send of our phone bill as we don't get paper bills. Our mobile phone as we pay in cash in top-ups, no petrol paperwork as we get cash and pay that way and we have a key meter for electric and top up with cash. The OR said to send confirmation in writing of that which he did.
Today he got a letter asking for receipts for them all. He doesn't have any! Who keeps receipts for stuff they pay in cash of that nature?!
So, he's going to have say that to the OR on Monday but is this detrimental to his case? He's not being awkward, we have nothing to hide but we have no proof.
He doesn't pay via card because we don't have a card, we have a basic Barclays account which is a simple cash card.

If I've got receipts for things I've paid cash for, they're hidden under goodness knows how much other paperwork
, so I'm glad I wasn't asked for those.
Although you don't get paper bills, the suppliers of your services will have computerised records of your account, so perhaps they can print a bill/statement for you - they might charge for this though. As for the mobile phone & electricity, any credits would show up on your account. It's worth contacting them & asking for a statement or bill showing the credits & usage on the account. If he/you ring up today about it, on Monday your OH can tell the OR that you've requested bill/statements from them & are waiting for them to be provided.
If you can get those but can't get the petrol one, I think that the OR would see you'd tried. If they're pushing for receipts, I don't think they'll accept that you can't get any of it without a letter from the supplier saying the information can't be provided. Did they query the amounts you said you paid, Bakey? I can't think why they're pushing so hard for this info unless they're not happy with what you've said, or someone's just being a jobsworth.

Hi Bakey - Long time no see.
I assume that your OH is still in his Bankruptcy Period i.e. has not been discharged. It is quite normal for the OR/Trustee to ask for a regular update of Income/Expenditure, usually after six months, and this is often a precursor to Early Discharge.
If your OH does not have the receipts, he should simply state to the OR that he was unaware that he needed to keep receipts. Other than things like PAYG phones, the OR could, if he so wishes, check most things, like utilities, with the provider.
Let's hope it IS a sign of an iminent early discharge.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
