Cheap thin food bags

I'm looking for the kind of bags you get in the supermarket, the decent size no frills ones for loose onions/veg etc. They must be really cheap from somewhere, but I can't find them? I'm thinking of them as a cheap/money-saving alternative to shop bought food/freezer bags.
Can anyone point me to where they can be gotten?

The supermarket. Buy one vegetable at a time and use a bag for each one.
Anyway, they are called produce bags and a quick google search shows you can get 250,000 of them for £800 + VAT. That should be more than enough for anyone.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Depends how many you want but the Sainsbury's basics medium freezer bags are thin and pretty cheap. I think they're about 60p a pack.0

I didn't think of the £1 shop. I did get a roll of bags off Ebay, but they're so small as to be useless.0

I find the Sainsbury's ones are best for me. I think they are 80p for 100, but they are quite sturdy for a basics brand.Be Kind, Work Hard, Stay Humble, Smile Often, Keep Honest, Stay Loyal, Travel When Possible, Never Stop Learning, Be Thankful Always and Love0
