Should I get a crown on my root canal treatment?
Comments
-
My hubby had a root canal but kept having problems with it and having it re-done etc then suffering with pain.
Decided to spend a bit of money and get a crown instead - best decision for him he had it done a year ago and had no problems since then. The dentist recommended it as he would have had to carry on having treatment on the tooth for goodness knows how long if he hadn't had a crown.
So expensive now but saved us money in the long run and I'd definitely say get it done now while it's still free rather than um and ahh about it and then have to pay!0 -
I had a root canal last year and having my crown fitted was the best decision I ever made. when i had it done first the tooth was still tender and I would be scared to eat on it incase it broke but now rafter having the crown put on it all of those worries have gone away and i can use the tooth like a normal molar.0
