What I find a bit depressing is, if those that have gone through/are going through/are thinking of going through BR have the attitude that everyone who goes through it is a money wasting, pond scum, boil on society how in hell's name are we ever going to get rid of the stigma that we feel is there from those that haven't gone through it/know anything about it etc etc?

Can we remind ourselves of the sticky at the top about judgement and how this isn't the time nor place for it? We get enough of that everywhere other than here, so if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all (especially as it's in no way constructive, helpful or useful to say what was said.)
Do not feed the trolls please.

Sarah-I'm sure with noodles there is a way (buy buying a PAYG sim...or something-not too sure!) that noodles DO report to your file-may be worth calling them on Monday??

Please could you post what they say as a new thread or PM me?

Again...broken hearted pops up with 'judgement'.... I've asked many times-she was give the advice to go BR but has not taken it. BH-why not post your circumstances on here-so we can see why you constantly judge people? & also why you think BR is a bad idea?

Best thing I ever did-20 years odd of worrying about debt/unpaid tax etc....GONE ((& this is not meant to sound flippant-just how I MYSELF feel).!!

Brokenhearted-I applied for the mobile phone contract as I was told having the direct debit would improve my credit rating. The phone contract was a fixed amount one, so I wouldnt get into debt, nor was I trying to. Unsurprisingly, after going through bankruptcy, my first priority is not to get myself into debt.

Pixiepie & phil-I was thinking this myself. People who have gone bankrupt or are in the process really do not need judgemental rubbish from others. I am baffled by some peoples need to make nasty comments to people who are seeking help, I cannot see what they get out of it. Although people like that make me apprehensive of posting here, I get a lot out of reading the threads. However the vast majority of people are extremely helpful and seem to genuinely care, which is great. My partner is the only person that knows I went bankrupt, so this place is a godsend for me!

Debtmonkey1 - I will indeed take your advice, look into it and PM you back, thanks

I am a discharged bankrupt and i had a PAYG fone with virgin mobile.

I rang them up and asked them to change me to PAYG direct debit.

My Credit Limit is £75 and i can track each and every call and text on line before the bill is taken and i can cancel at any time.

You dont get a new fone but they are cheap enough on PAYG.

This will help me rebuild my credit rating.
:j WILL GET THERE SOON :j
