Hotels.com via quidco

Just experienced shocking service from Hotels.com

Made a booking via quidco on 9th July for a family member. Family member turns up to check in earlier today, to be told the booking was not valid or paid for. I send over the confirmation from Hotels.com, which clearly states its been fully paid for, plus confirmation of payment. I think, the kind people at the hotel (Go native, aldgate east) have allowed use of a room, despite not being paid

I tried to call Hotels.com customer service, was told the wait time was less than a minute, 15 minutes later I hung up. Even though other online reviews, also stating the same shocking service, stated that Hotels.com do not reply to customer emails, I still sent a complaint. I doubt i will get the cashback either
