Will I be charged VAT twice on Silver coins?

I want to buy 200 legal tender Austrian Philharmonic 1 ounce silver coins from Germany. The website I am using (coininvest.com) clearly charges 20% VAT per coin on the checkout page. The coins are being shipped from Germany to the UK.
Can somebody please tell me if the UK tax man will try to stick on a further 20% VAT as the coins enter the country or will I just be charged the one time during checkout.
Thanks

There is no import VAT on imports within the EU. You may have to pay customs duty though.
They are presumably registered for UK VAT due to their level of sales:

No customs duty as it's not an import- it's an ec acquisition
Assuming you are a private individual, you pay German vat and that's it done. If you are VAT registered, you provide the seller with your VAT number, report it as an acquisition on your VAT return sand carry out a reverse charge yo account for the VAT0 -

OP said they were charging UK VAT. Assuming they were not mistaken then the company may be registered for UK VAT.0 -
I've used coininvest.com at least five times in last couple of years. There are no additional taxes or duties. What you pay at checkout is it. They collect UK VAT.0
