Letters from Clarity Credit Management and Red Castle Recoveries

Hi everyone,
I have a bit of a worrying situation and I wonder if you are able to offer some advice :-(
About nine to ten years ago, when I was a student, I got myself into some financial difficulty. I ran up some credit card debts that were never resolved.
At the time I was scared and didn't have the financial means to sort it out, so I just ignored the letters that were sent.
The situation seemed to go away and I've been looking after my finances pretty well for the last eight years.
However, recently, I have started to receive letters from two companies - one is called 'Clarity Credit Management' and the other is 'Red Castle Recoveries'. Both of them say that they are wishing to contact someone of my name regarding an 'important personal matter', and that I should call them on the number provided. No other details are mentioned.
I fear and suspect that this is regarding my credit card debts of nearly a decade ago. I really want to sort this out but I'm afraid of getting in touch with them and not sure what to do about it.
Can you offer any advice?
Thank you in advance.

If these debts are from more than 6 years ago they are 'statute barred' and not enforceable. It doenst mean you don't owe it, it just means they cant take you to court for it.
You have a choice.
Either ignore them or send them 'statute barred; letter. Im sure someone will post a link.
And stop worrying.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
