Yes well done to the defendant, it shows that Judges can use common sense, and beating the likes of PE and their lying, cheating ways isn't the sole preserve of the forums.
I noticed that the representative of that firm of upright, honest and trustworthy solicitors LPC Law 'refused to give his name'. Could it be because he didn't actually have any qualifications which gave him rights of audience in a hearing? I think we should be told.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Can't get the link to work 4CR.
EDIT: it seems the problem is at the newspaper's end as I'm having the same trouble accessing their website via Google link.
I'll try later, but thanks for the heads-up.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

More out and out lies from those amoral scammers at Parking Eye. I don't believe for a moment that they never received the correspondence. It's just too convenient for them that so many appeals by post go missing. Just more shameful behaviour that we've come to expect.
A shame the article doesn't give the (legal) basis that the claim was thrown out.0 -
So now a judge says that ParkingEye is either lying or incompetent over its incoming mail.Je suis Charlie.0
