Property comparison

I am due to exchange and complete on this property on Monday: http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/32053056?search_identifier=4eb1eb3c5f37f1bc5c37d96c491365b3. This property has come up for sale today on my road for slightly less money than I am paying (around the same): http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/33901334?search_identifier=4eb1eb3c5f37f1bc5c37d96c491365b3. I am interested to hear peoples' thoughts on the two properties and whether you think they are worth the same. One is terraced and one is a semi. One is more spacious than the other.

I prefer the semi but that's just a personal thing. Which is worth more to you?

i have spoken to an estate agent friend who believes the semi is worth more than the terraced even though the terraced is bigger. I am confused though.

I'd go with the semi, move in and relax. It has been a bit of a soap opera - do you really want to pull out of a sale and start again?

In not so long the sums of money involved will look like pocket change.

I'd rather live in the semi. It looks like the townhouse has a garden that is about 3 feet deep (the fact there is no clear picture of the garden indicates it isn't much of a selling point...)

Semi looks better .....you could always hold the chain to ransom ...seems the norm in England lol

Terraced are worth less, 3 story are worth less. If anything it is overpriced compared to the semi.

You're only talking a few thousand pounds difference -not a lot. I think the semi is worth more and a much nicer property even if the other is larger.
