Don't just compare platform charges. You need to compare the fund charge as well as they can be different on different platforms.
For example you might think Cavendish is cheaper than Hargreves Landsdown. But if you wanted to invest in the CF Woodford Equity Income fund it's actually the same -
Hargreves Landsdown platform charge is 0.45% + fund charge of 0.60% = 1.05%
Cavendish platform charge is 0.30% + 0.75% fund charge = 1.05%
Do your own sums on the funds you want to invest in.0 -
With the "Cavendish Online FundSupermarket Pension" you can't switch your funds online so not really my definition of an "online" pension.0

Yes they use the FundsNetwork. I'm not with Cavendish but looking for a provider at the moment and emailed them regarding this. They said: "For the time being you cannot perform online switches within the pension. We have raised this as a high priority issue with FundsNetwork to resolve and they are investigating this for us."
This suggests it's the same for all providers that use the FundsNetwork.0 -

I think it best to not let the choice of platform influence my investment decisions!

The screens are not the same as those for their ISA.
Since the pension is through CSD (isnt it?) there are significant differences.0 -

It's not. The comparison is for the same investment on different platforms. If the charges are the same then you would choose the platform which offers better features or service.0
