Im based in london so it is certainly not cheap. If im trying to put muscle mass on then I will need about 180g of protein per day. My body weight is almost 13stone. Please share your tips and advice on keeping the cost low. Where can I buy food for cheap etc..
I asked this on a bodybuilding forum and most of them are spending £350~£450 per month on food and supplements! can I cut it down to £200 while still eating healthy?

that's cause the forum is driven by supplement sponsorship and there is absolutely no need for the overkill you see on those forums. In fact, do too much of them, you end up fat and unhealthy
the body builds muscle on protein input after tiring exercise, it really is that simple and anything above that is trying to introduce some voodoo clap trap into a simple process, look at the big cats in nature, rippling muscles, how do they do it? they exercise and eat nothing but meat. Not rocket science. these magic powders do not get you from A to B any quicker than a simple diet of a lot of meat or if you can't afford that a lot of eggs, in fact that way's quicker -that way is animal protein, not the powdered crap
and train smart and hard too - split your routine so you maximise each group while you rest up the other. been into it for years, no substitute for natural healthy diet.

Bodybuilding forums are always going to overemphasise the importance of supplements. Truth is many don't work and people that claim they do usually work for a supplement company. You should check out examine.com they look at all of the available research to see if a supplement actually works or not.
No reason why you can't eat healthy and for it to not cost alot of money. It's cheaper to make your own meal at home than it is to eat at mcdonalds and it will contain alot more micronutrients and have a much better macronutrient profile.0
