Aqua?! I'm so confused?!

Hello, I recently applied for a aqua card they provisionally accepted me and told me they would be in contact by post! I received nothing for over a week but today I received a letter telling me my pub number and my card will follow? But I have also just received an email asking me to use their credit rating checker and there sorry they couldn't accept me?! What's going on? Will my card work? Have I really been accepted and the email is a mistake? They do t have a helpline if you haven't got a registered card Thanks

There are cases that Aqua applicants are receiving rejection emails from Aqua, but they receive their cards also and they are working. So errors happens. Aqua credit card application could took 1-2 months, like in my case. But wait for the card and you will find out if you still be able to activate it.

I recieved a rejection letter and an acceptance letter in the post at the same time last year. My card arrived a week later, so who knows. Maybe the details gets fed into a computer at application, computer says no but is accepted by a human at some point. Dunno

Ignore everything apart from requests to contact them. When (if) you get your card activate it and then go to an ATM and change your PIN. Then you'll know if the card is working. Aqua actually asks new card holders to change their PIN by that means anyway.

    What's a PUB number?
