Old AA (HBOS) Debt

Options
I had an unsecured loan which is now statute barred with the AA in 2005.

A new build estate agent is encouraging me to use Halifax to apply for a mortgage.

What chance is there of Halifax seeing this outstanding loan?

My credit files with all 3 agencies are clean and show no trace of this old loan.

There's every chance an internal debt will still be visible, even though the default or whatever it was has fallen off your credit file.

There's no way of knowing if you will be declined as a result, as the rest of the application data will impact the decision.
