Christmas party Cancellation

Options
Hi,

Can anyone help me, i booked a christmas party and paid the deposit and signed a booking form in April - the orginiser (Lowry) has contacted me today to tell me that we can't have the party that we have paid for as they are cancelling us for a larger group.

I've read the T&C's on the booking form and it says that if the Lowry cancel the night then we can have a full refund or go on a different date - but they aren't cancelling the night they just want to cancel our booking?

Please help!!

If they are cancelling you, for any reason, then they owe you a full refund. Call them back tomorrow and ask when your refund will be processed. If they stall, although I can't see that they would, keep pressing them to pay it back as you'll need to use that money to rebook somewhere else now that they've let you down.
