In that much debt I dont even know who I owe

I have really been struggling with debts over the past 10 years. I have that much debt with so many different people I dont even know what I owe nor to whom i owe it!!

Is there a way of finding out? I'm so confused. I have looked at my noddle credit report and there are people on there I have never even heard of!?! eg Moorbank Britannica - I owe the £6000? I dont even know what for?!?!

I really need some help!

Usually the easiest thing to do is wait and see who contacts you.
Are you still in your DMP or not ?.

According to your other thread you were with payplan yes ?, you could ask payplan for a list of your creditors, statement of account etc, short of that there is little else you can do.
I would expect the letters to start if you have recently stopped paying.

Save a copy of your credit file every now and again.

Wait for people to write to you, writing back and asking what the debt is for. Then, create a folder for each debt to keep a track on them.

Hi there, first step is what your doing! I think the advice the others have given is great and finding out who you owe and why will be really important in figuring out your debts.

Really good luck and everyone on these forums is really lovely and helpful!
