Egg loan PPI

Please could someone advise on an egg loan of only £1700 that my girlfriend has. she has it over 2 years but i notice she has been payin PPI for the 3 months that she has had the loan for. is it really worth it? can she have this taken off?

    She'll probably have to reapply for the loan.

    Get her to call them and ask. She'll need to get a settlement figure (which may include extra for the insurance) to best see what her options are.

    As to your question "is it really worth it?", it's insurance, so it's your choice as to what level of cover you feel comfortable with, but IMO, no it's not worth it at all.
