This incredible album project spearheaded by Dame Shirley Bassey sees her working with songwriting partners Catherine Feeney and Nikki Lamborn, who co-wrote the beautiful Bassey neo-classic 'The Living Tree' and produced title track 'Get The Party Started'.

Catherine and Nikki make up London-based band, Never The Bride who originally approached the Dame about the possibility of recording 'The Living Tree' last summer. The duo had recorded their version of the song, but convinced Dame Shirley it was right for her during a trip to Monte Carlo (where the legendary singer now lives).

A chance encounter with the Dame in the gym of a 5 star hotel in the city led to Dame Shirley Bassey hearing and falling in love with the song and agreeing to record it.

In a career spanning more than 50 years, Dame Shirley Bassey has sold millions of records worldwide and has spent more weeks in the charts than any other British female recording artist. Her previous hits include classics such as 'I Who Have Nothing', 'Big Spender', 'Something', 'Light My Fire' and 'History Repeating', as well as the unforgettable Bond themes 'Goldfinger' and 'Diamonds Are Forever'.
