is there an easy and cheap way to do this/ I am attemping to send money to Canada. used western union and they only allowed £400. The bank refused to send it and i had a lot of hassle to eventally send it off. trying again, and the same thing is happening. The bank won't allow it, although i did tell them i would be moving money around and i went through all the security things with them
The money is needed urgently and why won't WU allow me to send more than £400. there must be an easir way. Any help appreciated.

Why your bank can't send?
You can google international payment. There are lots of company transfer money oversea.
And other option is paypal or sending prepaid card.0 -

I've sent more than £400 to Turkey quite a few times via Halifax, I've never experienced any problems, strange that you’re bank won't allow the same. Maybe they're concerned about money laundering as you say you would be moving money around. Who knows?
Have a look at some of the options in the following link if it helps any.

If you were a user/familiar with Bitcoin, that would allow you to send money for next to no transaction fee.0
