Car Clamped please Help!!
Comments

Well still going on, insurance did have proposer as owner so seems receipts actually not worth anything!!
Car still clamped, they have been informed wife is going through application of IVA but told they require £510.00 before removing the clamp!!
Just like playing a bloody game at the moment, waiting to see what latest is from PayPlan but bailiff said debt to remove clamp will not be included and either way we must pay the 510 for clamp to come off!!!0 -
Last request for advice if possible.
Bailiff is now getting way out of line, called at house and tried intimidating my daughter saying get your mum to contact me or she is going to prison!! Scared my daughter senseless.
Wife contacted bailiff and explained that she is in process of going through iva, bailiff said she would give her few weeks to sort things out, then called at house again after waiting around to see second daughter come home, they didn't answer the door.
Now after another call at house which my daughter answered she told daughter we will be taking the car.
My wife again contacted bailiff explaining she was supposed to be giving her time to sort things and she replied well not now I need 50% payment before discussing any kind of payment plan and again 're-iterated she was going to take the car.
We said no problem take it and she then threatened and I'll be back to take goods from your house as well!!
Nothing but rude and harassing on the phone!!
Getting the point where they think they can just walk all over people and intimidate my daughter's as well????
Any advice greatly appreciated0 -
Make sure you have in place a written agreement that states all items in the house belong solely to you with the exception of your wife's clothes.
I know it sounds silly, but unless it is a joint debt, then they cannot take goods unless owned by the debtor.Never Knowingly Understood.
