Most will probably call back but based on comments on other threads quite a few don't leave messages.0 -

I leave a mobile number and if I've won something they've always left a voicemail if I couldn't answer. With prizes I either pick them up from the local sorting office, or ask them to deliver to my parent's house.

Since I've been comping, I've noticed a few missed called from unknown numbers i.e. no number comes up at all so I can't even call back if I wanted to. Sometimes I just don't get the phone out in time before it goes to voicemail.
The occasion when I have won and was informed by phone, it was an unknow number too.
Depending on the prize, I think some comps need a quick accept/decline response and won't bother leave a message but will just keep calling random folks who've entered until someone answers and accepts.
When I won tickets to see a live band, I looked back at the T&C's which stated a winner will be called at 3pm and if there's no response it will be re-drawn again a couple of hours later. I got the winning call just before 6pm and I have no doubts that if I had missed the call, I wouldn't have been left a voicemail or email.
At work I keep my phone on silent but have my screen facing up so I can hopefully see my screen flash if the phone rang. I doubt winning calls will be long so if questioned I'd tell my boss that I was expecting an emergency call or something.0 -
we're not allowed mobile phones in our workplace so i just set my mobile to divert to my personal works number at my desk. So do that if you can or just leave a personalised voicemail saying your phone is off till 4pm (or whatever time you finish) and to call back then or to email you.Luck affects everything; let your hook always be cast; in the stream where you least expect it, there will be a fish0
