I recently ordered a desk online. It was a bargain and was chuffed when I got email confirming my order. Two weeks later they have told me the desk is unavailable, the desk was still showing as "in stock" on website so I telephoned and ordered it again, was told verbally that it was in stock.
Have been told today that it is definately out of stock and their "confirmation" email is just an acknowledgement of my order.
I wanted them to sell me an alternative desk at the price of the original (the alternatives are all more expensive).
Does anyone know if I have any rights in this situation? Would appreciate any advice-thanks.
(Sorry if message is in the wrong place-my 1st post!)
