Mortgage possibility with bad payment history

Sorry I didn't mean to offend you guys. I expressed my frustration. By the time it happened I had no idea about mortgages. One of my friend introduced. He didn’t even asked me to check my credit report before produce the application. I had 22k loan at that time but he said it shouldn’t be a problem. No affordability check has been done in front of me. Charged £200 for admin fee. NatWest rejected then made applications to Santander & Barclays both rejected. I rang him number of times to find out the reason for the rejection but no clear answer was given.
No I am very concern about every single factor before apply again. My biggest worry is past late payments. Thanks
