Everyone looks at investments differently I thought it would be interesting to share thoughts and get other view points around specific funds.
For example what's popular at the moment has anyone invested in: "FL JPM Natural Resources Pn" for example is it a bad move maybe.

If you are invested 100% in it then yes it is a bad move. If its part of your specialist allocation of your portfolio (if you have a specialist segment) then fair enough.
You should never buy funds on the basis of popularity. It is known as fashion investing and fashions usually end up going bad. Media liked endowments, tech stocks etc and it is always focusing on niche/specialist areas like biotechnology and the like.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
