in Cutting tax
I shall be using an accountant, but can anyone tell me if being employed on a .4 (2 days per week @ 2/5 of £23k) and then being the only Director of a Private Limited Company with profits of circa £32k is feasible tax wise? Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. What do you mean by feasible?0

Depends on what you are looking at doing but you'll need to inform hmrc you are a director & do self assessment.
Your primary job, I presume you are on PAYE & then you'll probably be better off receiving dividends than a wage from being a director as you won't pay as much tax.
Your company will of course pay tax on any profits you declare.0 -
Agreed. It's not clear what the question is but my wife is p/t employed, self employed and also the sole director of a limited company.
It all comes together on her self assessment.
I'd say it's feasible.0 -
Thanks, that helps me move things forward :-)0
