prc with santander

we have sold our prc repaired house with prc cert and our buyers got mortgage with Santander as they do prc no issues and happily accept cert we have. local surveyor came Friday said to me no issues then submitted report and said prc so no go. Santander said based on that they wontr do it. our buyers mb has sent our cert to Santander who have sent it back to their underwriters and their own policy says they will do it where it is a prc homes ltd cert which is what we have. are the underwriters likely to approve now given this is their policy and how long will it take.
