Am I likely to hear from OR again?

It's 6 weeks since my OR interview and it's been quiet for a while. There were a couple of things they came back with - like asking me if I wanted to buy back my life insurance policy for £50.
I asked them to return my previous 12 months bank statements for my records but they haven't done so.
From what I have read on here, that's probably typical that there is no more news from the OR but my question is: am I likely to hear anything from the OR again before I am discharged?
At the end of my interview I was told there'd be little chance of an IPA as I am self employed and my income fluctuates too much but I am sure the OR might want to check on how business is doing in a few months time.
Should I be pro-active in anything now or just wait for the OR to contact me if indeed they will?

Its not possible to say whether they will contact you again, every case is different. Some people get asked for more info/financial records, some people receive letters now & again about the life assurance as you mentioned, or their pension, some get a fresh SOA to fill out as the year comes to a close & some hear nothing at all. There's no way of predicting it.
If they need something further from you then you will know about it and if you don't hear from them then don't start poking the OR hive with your stick, just leave them well alone.0
