Tsb?

I applied for a TSB mortgage over the phone last thursday - it was approved, valuation paid for and was booked for today and they told me all I needed to do next was to hand my ID documents into my local branch.

Went into branch saturday morning and they faxed everything across.

Had a phone call yesterday from the EA to say that TSB had rang them to say the valuation for today had been cancelled and wouldnt give them the reason why.

I panicked and called TSB who said the reason for this was because they had not received my ID documents.

They still havent received them as from this morning and said it can take a day or so until they show up.

EA is getting nervous, as is vendor that the application isnt going to go through and cant understand why they have cancelled the valuation even though i've paid for it??

Anyone had any experience of TSB telephone application and how long it takes for documents to appear on system so i can reassure the EA??
