Remortgage question

Hi, just a quick question to ensure I understand it correctly.

We are currently on a fixed deal with ING direct which expires on 30 Sept 2014 (early repayment fees until then).

We are looking at moving to Skipton and have had their conveyancing company asking for what date we want to start our remortgage.

ING direct charge interest daily, so in my opinion the 1st October is the best date???


Have I understood this correctly??

Wait until the day after your fix ends.
What does your mortgage revert too after the fix ends ? SVR ?
