So the sink in my utility has a prominent white line halfway up it and below to the 'plug' at first I thought it might be paint as we have decorated but after severely going at it with the 'turps' both after the painting and more recently I'm not convinced. The more I think about it, it has worsened as I've soaked the kids clothes in vanish powder granules!
I've tried bleach and 'turps' and other household sprays, with no results, never had much joy with the stainless steel spray, don't find it too useful!
Has anyone any bright ideas as to how I might this clean or is my sink doomed?

Try a mix of bicar of soda & white vinegar. Cheap to buy & if it doesn't work it will come in useful elsewhere.0

Do I get the bicarb from Wilkos and White Vinegar from the usual section in Tesco? Sorry never heard of this solution before....0

Or get them both from Tesco? They are both easy to find in a supermarket0 -
Can you get Tcut in the right colour? That was the only thing which worked when my DD sprayed my metal fire surround with windowlene but it did do the trick and cover the mark and remain water resistant.0
