Loan needed for non uk tax payer

Hi

Really hope you can help.
I need to find a home improvement loan for 40k.
I own a uk property valued at 700k, outstanding mortgage 92k.

However, as of 6 mths ago I have been working for a non UK co and am now not a uk taxpayer.

I am struggling to find a loan, and would really appreciate your help.

    Can you remortgage your home to release £40k of equity or will your mortgage lender not let you do that because you are not a UK tax payer?

    This. If you've built up a good reputation with your mortgage lender, I'd be surprised if they're not willing to lend you it on the house.
    Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

    ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.
