Money needed quick

Hi guys, I'm new here so I ll keep this short and sweet
I have my eye on this business opportunity, however I need 20k. I've got around 5. I have 2 buy to let's, my own house, a small business making around 15k and I earn around £25k. I read about using credit cards or something. Has any one got any advice?

What is the business opportunity ?

What's so special about it for £20k ?

Why hasn't it been snapped up yet if its only 20k ?

Why do u need it pretty quick and how quick ?
  • It's actually 100k but the £20 k is just the deposit as I think I can just about break even after that until I get settled into it which will admittedly take a while. Totally confident I can make a go of this.

Why not sell the BTL houses if it is such a sure winner?

No lender is going to take all the risk whilst you contribute nothing.
  • I hope it's not an MLM scheme.

If the deposit is £20k and you only have £5k at present, where is the remaining £80k going to come from? You wouldn't be able to borrow that much as a personal loan. You could try remortgaging one of your properties or how about speaking with your business banking manager to see if you can take out a business loan for this opportunity.

MLM is Multi-Level Marketing, it's essentially a pyramid scheme so doomed to failure and lost money

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Even if you could borrow 20k where do you propose to get the other 80k?
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
