Stepchange Debt Charity

I recently joined stepchange debt charity for some help with my debts & I wantedto check other peoples exexperience with them. Around 3 days ago I sent them infirmation about my debts, copy of my payslip & direct debit information but I've heard nothing since despite emailing them. Should I be worried? Think I'llgive them a call 2moro?

I joined Stepchange in June 2014. They have literally been lifesavers. If I needed any clarification about anything I would ring them and the answer would be given to me immediately.
Emails I find take a little longer (response in about 48 hours) but they must get thousands to plough through.

Considering they deal with a lot of clients, and the fact that your "information" has maybe spent two days in the postal system, and it is the weekend, have a little patience

Yeah give them a chance, there are thousands upon thousands of people needing help. Two out of the three days have been the weekend (bit American that).

I was with them originally in 2008 and they took longer than 3 days then - can't remember how long it took exactly but at least 5 days.
They will get back to you...just be patient. As mentioned, they have thousands of people to deal with now.
If any creditors call you in the meantime, just tell them you are dealing with Stepchange and that they will be contacted in due course, and then hang up.Debt 30k in 2008.:eek::o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
