My mum's always got the subtitles on her tv and it annoys me its hardly ever in sync with what programme is talking about :( I find myself silently repeating what subtitles are going to say :rotfl::rotfl:

Trust you to miss it again :D:D

The first ten minutes of the programme yes.

I usually have subtitles on these days (usually only watch stuff after 9pm, never much on before then). I sometimes miss stuff, so I have the subtitles on so that I don't. I don't normally have a problem with them being out of sync - then again, I suspect I probably am (a split-second) out of sync with the entire rest of society around me anyway.

I'm a split second ahead of 'everyone' over perceiving motion, but a split second behind compared to the actual time everything else is actually happening around me (such as people talking around me in RL). I suspect. Of course, I can never tell if that is the case or not. It's why I'm always out of time with everything in RL social interactions. (I suspect.)
