The stores rely on people not buying in the most efficient way - most people just fill up to the top each time:( - whilst still getting the benefit of the promotion appearing to be much better than it is. These 'fuel deals' are popular - and precisely the worst normally money-wasting (the Whiskas bowl was the exception) things for us to take up from our point of view. They always require spending more on groceries than you would ever get deducted from the fuel. So avoid, IMO.
I notice that, last time I was in T, they have now added a bit to the till receipts about the promotion, namely that you can only collect for the next month or whatever it now says. (Maybe to be seen as an implied admission that the promotion was misleading by omission before?:think:)
I guess they could've given it to someone else, but where's the fun in that when there's shenanigans afoot'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

I thought the Palmolive Hygiene was "only" 88p for one in M?:think: (I use quotation marks as still too exhorbitant.) Or maybe a different Palmolive? It looks like this Palmolive now going up to £1.89:eek: in M according to msm. One I did not like was one of the McV Cheesecake biscuits being 50p vs £1.19 for M. Correct - but I still wasn't pleased with it!:rotfl::rotfl:
Strawberry cones are nice to see compare. They also work (at least until the next update) mix and match on 1 Strawberry and 1 Chocolate & Hazelnut as we found out earlier.purpledonkey wrote: »I guess they could've given it to someone else, but where's the fun in that when there's shenanigans afoot
Good point. It can be exhausting having to do shenanigans constantly all the time though.0 -

I have just signed into t's .com and those seabrooks crisps are not coming up , so does that mean they dont tell them ? please and thanks
haven't seen the lattice ones in T at all (but haven't looked in an extra yet), only crinkle cut;
on MSM they have been showing OOS in T for a while but still comparing;
seen both lattice and crinkle cut in every A I have been to - the lattice ones not in the crisps aisle but next to it;
maybe A Supermarkets (ex-nettos) don't stock them?...
straight cut - only seen in M (very limited stock)
