Awwww sorry about your car:( thought hubby's was being fixed? must have missed that its notIt was a lot of hassle to get the higher rate:o and we just copied someone else paper work as he had the same disease:cool: Do you go to a support group and see if anyone gets the higher rate and find out what they put on the paperwork ;)remember always when giving examples put down there worse days;)just because you can't see what's wrong with the child and they look normal a lot of people think they are ok  if they had a arm or leg missing because you can see it people understand:o
i don't think there is any chance we'd be able to get that unfortunately
you'd think if they need high rate of care that would count though wouldn't you?
Thanks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: couldnt cope with you lot on the night shift:eek::rotfl::rotfl::beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
Why is my OH should a pain with his cashbacks.
Also yesterday he had the buy any shop and get 25p so I found him various small receipts with various dates. He uploaded 3 and he got email receipts from COS for them. This morning his grand total is no different and all of the receipts on his phone have vanished
at this rate is will be Christmas before he gets to the £20 level.
My email receipts from yesterday are still on my phone - has anyone a clue what has happened?
I think you're expectations are a little high to say the least. At least give them a chance to be processed.
It's a weekend, minimal staff (if at all), higher volume of receipts submitted etc. Give them a few days at least0 -

we were over half way to meet my mum & planning to go to toys r us at lakeside so the boys could use their gift card from the family fund to get a ps4 so lucky they gave us a hire car as if they couldn't have seen grandma & gone to toys r us there would have been a meltdown especially from DS3. we were lucky our car broke down near a bakers so that i could keep them occupied with some lunch while AA man took hubby to pick up hire car
the boys were so good yesterday bless them
also car hire place isn't open today so we don't have to take car back until tomorrow so hubby has been able to to take them to golf today as planned all week
got a quiet house to myself for a few hours now :T
Enjoy your peace((Hugs))
The family fund are wonderful. I know that DD use them years ago don't know if she asked for anything recently but I know she got the tricycle and some IT stuff0 -

Got to agree with that It was never obvious when GD was smaller and only marginally now.
I have a friend who gets a paid carer The same person so they have a friendship, she has really bad MS and it makes such a difference to her life. DIL's father is just as ill but he has different carers popping in and out. He wont apply but I think it would help to have continuity0 -
good morning all hope everyone is well, xxdavemorton wrote: »Have you not got womanly things to do, like washing or ironing young lady?
would have been insulted but its a long time since I have been called young or a lady :rotfl::rotfl: so I will take it as a compliment0 -

I go to a support group for parents whose children have autism.
I have yet to meet a person who gets high rate mobility and can get a mobility car, that really seems to be for those with a physical disability. But we all get high rate care.
But saying that, if I did not have a car I don't know how I would get about with my 2. I took dd1 to Buckingham palace yesterday on the train and she needs one to one attention as she has no danger awareness and feels the need to touch EVERYTHING. I couldn't manage that and dd2 who is just a naughty 3 year old on public transport all the time.0 -

i must have been very quiet lately as i didn't even make the list this time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
that is a lot of money to spend with no guarentee of it working  the electrics went on our old banger last week, nothing on the dash would work, oh and ds2 tried for a week but could not fix it took it and got a quote was told it would cost £500  we only paid £300 for the car 4 years ago and was going to scrap it a while ago but it passed another mot , so we decided time for it to go oh got in it to take it down our neighbour who has a scrap yard and everything worked fine, :j so we will keep it for now, I just dont think it wants to be scrapped...0 -
