I have return to an empty house, he clearly decided to go out with his family for a celebratory meal…. which he said he was not going to. I had encouraged him, and told him to send me a text if he was going to.

So after driving 88 miles to sit in an empty house… I am miffed off (if this is appropriate terminology). Would it take too much to send a text, and I would have gone to a hotel and saved 3 hours driving!!!

My terminology would have been much stronger than 'miffed off', albeit that that is appropriate!

Hope you not too miffed off love.

If I ring them do you think they will they refund me the difference ?

 How slow do you drive???

    :p

It is 88 miles each way, and the M18 and M1 has continual road works, often at a standstill…... I also try to keep within the legal limit occasionally!

I keep a bag in the car, in case I decide to stay over… but I like to come home as I am soft but not to an empty house!

Have you used it? If not I would take it back and order another. Might be worth asking them for a refund though, telling them that if they don't you will return it. Only problem being if you return it you won't get the clubcard points back until next statement

I am being silly, as I am thinking of booking into a hotel tomorrow night and not tell him...… but then I realise I am an adult and need to be sensible!

I cannot even open a bottle of wine as I need to be driving at 6 a.m….

It maybe sensible for me to go to bed before he returns… :o:o:o or clean the bathroom!!!
