it is being done in the local hospital by the paediatric dental team, who have dealt with him before.they are great and the finances are out of their hands.

Hi Fairclaire - have you asked your ds' dental team to apply to your local PCT exceptional cases team? Each PCT has an exceptional cases team who can agree funding for exceptional cases. If you google 'pct exceptional cases + your local area' you should find some info. For example the cambridgeshire exceptional funding info is here: http://www.cambridgeshireandpeterboroughccg.nhs.uk/Exceptional-Cases.htm

The problem with funding any private medical treatment (without insurance) is that in the unfortunate event of a patient needing unexpected aftercare (e.g. admission to ICU) the costs can soar.

Apologies if I am teaching my grandma to suck eggs here but just wanted to check you knew about this.

Morning all - undecided weather so far :)

1st jobs this morning were to clear the poo off the bathroom floor and the entire contents of the litter tray someone had kicked out (yes the poo is now in the house) and to put a wash load on as someone had been sick on their fleece - isn't having cats lovely :D

I had an email from Skype about downloading the latest version for the desktop so with so many dodgy emails going around I deleted that one and went to Skype itself to download it. Even that was not simple - there was a page you had to untick otherwise you ended up with Bing or MSN as your search engine

I also got a email from marks about their one day 20% sale. So I already had socks in the basket and I also put a digital scale which went in at £12 - Ive been coveting the ones in Home Bargains.

I then logged in - I always have to reset my marks password, every single time  . I put in my 4 times points voucher from a mailing and then I put in a code I had from another mailing which gave me £10 off the "stylish Home collection"
It took 3 attempts but finally the code was accepted but the final total did not look correct - the scales had gone up from £12 to £14

I am waiting on a reply from marks now - I always seem to have mither with Marks orders

Morning tweets bet you can't wait to have a break from work and I bet Poppy loves having her Mummy at home with her:T

I am looking forward to the break .

Poppy does love having me at home with her she gets to go on more walkies if its not raining. We only go on short walks because she barks at other dogs and pulls on harness/lead. I don't trust her :(

If she was good we could go around the waterworks and reservoirs my other 2 dogs used to love their long long walks used to poop them out :D.

I don't even take Poppy around the outside of the park when going to mums anymore because owners have their dogs off their leads when its illegal  and I don't want them attacking Poppy or Poppy attacking them happened once and frightened me and Poppy :(.

If we on walkies and no dogs are seen Poppy is as good as gold
