Just back from a Diamond wedding anniversary party - the inlaws :D Managed to get a card from the Queen arranged too. Lovely afternoon catching up with a few relatives, the grandson was running up and down a field all afternoon and the granddaughter still does not like me holding her :(

Glad you had a lovely time, that is some achievement:T:T:T

So once again I get more than they get on a full weekly shop:(. Got what I expected from my own shop though:).

6 items (5 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Sainsbury's

    +£3.48CheaperSignBlue.gif
    1 x ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk 6 Pints (3.41L)£1.48£1.48
1 x Flash Liquid Gel All Purpose Cleaner Lemon:(:o (400ml)£2.48£1.00
1 x Birds Eye Fish Fillets in Crispy Batter (2 per pac...£1.00N/A
1 x Bernard Matthews Dinosaur Turkey Roll (100g)£0.50N/A
    1 x Candyland Flumps Mallow Twists (12g)£0.10£0.10
    1 x Haribo Starmix£0.10£0.10
2 x ASDA Strong & Absorbent Extra Long Kitchen Towels ...£4.00£2.00
1 x ASDA Smartprice Medium Sliced Brown Bread (800g)£0.45N/A
    Comparison total (compared products only)£8.16£4.68

They didn't have the £2.37 Lynx, so had to buy another pack of the expensive Kitchen Rolls.

As usual my shop was more expensive than everywhere else:rotfl::rotfl:.

FWIW a slight glitch on the bread - SP Wholemeal Bread appears on the comp. as Brown and doesn't compare against the much more expensive Basics Wholemeal Bread:T. (Do not get the Brown, if you find it, as that makes no show and thus doesn't count towards your items. Unless you are getting it on "reduced" or something and don't want it to count.) Not that it helps - it would have worked out a bit better, vs T, if the Wholemeal appeared as Wholemeal and compared properly vs T at 47p. Instead, it's an N/A.

Sainsbobs are really expensive now on almost all their "Basics" range. I thought there was another price increase on the Basics Ham - but it's the Cooked Ham at £1.70:eek::eek: whilst the Wafer Thin is £1.55:eek:. They are really expensive on much of their Basics stuff - and probably on their other own-brand if they can get away with it - although of course they are highlighting the difference they see in country of origin on the Ham. (Even the Rubber Gloves went up by one penny from 24p to 25p, although they are - one of the very few - quite good items that are more expensive in A.)

There are some "great" (their word;):() offers on their website "for deliveries by 22/7". Let's hope some other items go on offer after the date, so we can have some good ones on the APG.
