Can anyone help please I'm in charge of doing the children's craft show at Bedwellty agricultural show in august. I have to think of 25 different things for them to make/draw. from the age of 4 up to 16-17. I have a few ideas already, does anyone have any others I can cadge? Any suggestions welcome

    Can it be competitive?

For the older group you could hold competition in relation to the tallest structure using x number sheets of news paper that needs to hold a tennis ball. Or similar activity making a bridge.

You could do a group activity, i.e. they could trace their hands, cut them out and colour them in, and put on a collage.

I always love paper hats/planes.. gives the boys something to occupy themselves.

ooh I would love to come and help

If you or your other half are beer drinkers, a visit to St Austell Brewery in the middle of St Austell is worth trying. The brewery tour is interesting in itself and you get plenty of included samples. The Hicks Bar is good for food too - entry fee is from £8 for Seniors nd they have plenty of free parking. Its good value.

The Holmbush Inn in St Austell ( almost next door to Tesco) does excellent fish and chips as well as a range of other decent food.

The Adrenalin Rush up near Liskeard is good fun if you fancy a hairy ride.

Google them and you will get full details.

Thanks, I'll make a note of this lot, much appreciated! Unfortunately I don't think we'll be getting senior entry at the Hicks bar at the ripe old age of 24 but it's worth a go for a discount eh :D

P.s. You probably shouldn't have mentioned T though, my hubby moans enough about me doing 'that stupid moneysavingexpert stuff' in there as it is :rotfl:

It certainly is! Sadly no time to look around though on this occasion. I have been lucky enough to in the past though.
It was originally supposed to be Leeds. How glad I am that it was changed! I still get panic attacks thinking about being stuck on the ring road there :o I must have done 20 circuits of the city :o

Lol, I've done that before and I'm local :rotfl:

  • A fairly interesting day today managed to get around 10 wobbles and 4 of them £2.50+ each

also managed to do 4 biscuit shops, a whoopsie shop and shower gel (40p the 2p one wasn't available in my store) and lots of 50p imperial leather bath stuff, also I have purchased 60x custard pots :) art 11pence each because they have such a long date 2015!

fyi I had an order cancelled this morning because they couldn't change my card. and the apg's went missing. I had to call cs and they issued a CS apg for the vouchers that went awol.
  • Totally, The work is judged with a score sheet (not sure who by yet) Its run exactly the same as the adult comps. I'm trying to get prizes as well. They normally have £1 for 1st prize, 80p for 2nd and 50p for 3rd. I think I can do better than that!

I thought design a comic book cover or design a super hero?
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
