    I remember it well, sat on the kerb outside my Grandmother's house (the step & wall are still there) in Clovens Road on Portland - we were going to my cousin's christening & Grandma was a master of Gladioli growing & used them to decorate the local church in Fortunes Well.

    Lovely pictures from lots of posters Gladioli now that takes me back My aunt grew loads of them and dahlia's They dahlias always had creepy crawly things in them though. Dont see them now, now that I think about it
