Just thought I'd draw attention to this as equivalent to about £1.11 for 2.5kg.

I had a dentist attempt to remove a wisdom tooth. Took a second dentist to assist and over an hour. When I went back for the other side the dentist refused to touch it and referred me to the hospital. If I had known that from the start I would have had them all out together under general in the first place.

My best mate had her wisdom teeth removed under general some years ago, she has since had to have a jaw replacement

Apparently he used a now outdated method which basically messed up her jaw :(...she had a replacement jaw joint which her body rejected due to the titanium content, so she had to be opened up again to have it removed, then she managed with just a plastic spacer for years and years instead of a jaw joint on that side. Finally technology advanced and she was able to have a totally-non-metal jaw made in the USA and shipped over here. And then had to be opened up again to have it put in.:eek:

She had been on a semi solid diet for about 15 years, and she can now eat sandwiches, crisps, pizza, go out for meals without first speaking to the chef, have a Sunday roast without mashing it all up first etc etc :j It's amazing :). Well, her maxillo facial surgeon is amazing :T

She will likely have to have the other side done at some point, but she doesn't want to think about it at the moment.

Like I said, the original surgeon used a now outdated (rather more brutal apparently) method so please don't be worried

They didnt show full price. They showed at a multibuy that was higher than you paid but still cheaper elsewhere

Its worth trying anything that is reduced instore but only if msm shows a multibuy at a higher price and you buy enough to qualify

If you bought one custard it would show as 11p

Does anyone know a way to preserve beetroot without using vinegar? I just don't like the taste of vinegar.:eek::eek:

I've googled it but the best I could get was 50/50 vinegar with water and sugar. Have lots of beetroot ready from the allotment.

    TIA

Try this MKS, I know it uses vinegar but the jelly overpowers it.
    Beetroot in Jelly
    2lbs beetroot
    1/2 pint white vinegar
6 cloves, 6 peppercorns, small bay leaf
1/2 packet raspberry or blackcurrant jelly. I think I have used the powder ones before.
Wash BR,do not cut, cook by boiling/microwave/pressure cooker, until tender.
Cool slightly, rub off skin and dice into small pieces or slice.
    Pack tightly into sterilised jars.
Place vinegar & spices into saucepan, boil for 10 mins, discard spices.
Pour onto jelly until completely dissolved, pour onto beetroot completely covering it. Allow to cool and seal.

    Keeps for ages.:)
