There is a Facebook page/blog called 'tiny house swoon' which may be of use. Many of them are based in the US but a number of them are UK based and have often been posted by the architects themselves. We have an outbuilding (old coach house) in our back garden which we have thought about using as our place of work so understanding some of the PP intracacies is really useful.

I have a good idea of the plan's for the actual building itself, the biggest stumbling block is where to be able to get really small portion's of land. Most land I have seen advertised is far too large and costs too much0 -

Price per acre goes down the more you buy. What about a consortium?
Still have PP issue though.0 -

There is a book called Tiny Homes: Simple Shelter by Lloyd Kahn (not a relative or friend!) which I Love. It's a book full of amazing pictures and inspirations stories of people who live in tiny homes. Sadly, not a lot of them are in the UK, but it's still amazing to see what people are doing for the Tiny House Movement worldwide
I think it includes the hobbit house in Wales, that whilst amazing, was built without planning permission and I think they may now be losing it.

A distant family member mine has a few acres for agriculture and I asked them if I could keep my tiny house on there, they said yes they don’t have any problems with it, especially if I tidy it up a bit.
What are the rules these days?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -

Agricultural land is about £6k per acres in the uk.
If it’s poor quality or on steep mountain or something then even less.
But even if you buy a quarter of an acre or something, what is the law about just living in a tiny house off grid?
The government do not want people being independent and not pushing up the housing bubble even more, surely they will try to stop the tiny house independent movement?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
What is the law about buying some Agucultural land for about £6k per acre and put it g a tiny house on it?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0
