Does he have a copy of the company's disciplinary policy? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Normal terms of suspension will prohibit contact/ discussion with other members of staff - be careful if he's contacting others.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0

thanks muchly for the ACAS link. very useful. i dont think he a copy of their disciplinary policy. i think he hasnt even had a contract of employment but will check that. his father in law used to work at the same place and left along with several others because of their bad 'behaviour' over everything. just this month gone, they underpaid my son by nearly £200!! and its not the first time they have messed up wages. they have a very high turnover of drivers.0

And he's stuck it out for 15 months....time to move on I would suggestDon't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0

yes, he has been saying that for a while now. he knows this has rather pushed him a bit further forward to doing that. he is getting his CV up to speed tomorrow to hand in to someone on Monday, who has asked to see it. fingers crossed.0

It seems that working for more than 11 hours a day is not permitted, and breaks are strongly recommended. See links below. However, while this is a good argument for a brief nap, it makes not taking lunch worse.
