Should I still be paying child maintenance?

The CSA would happily oblige you to pay child maintenance whilst Child Benefit is in payment. Your child still needs a roof over his head, clothes on his back and some money in his pocket to go out with friends whether he is in school, college or job seeking. Or do you expect his mum to throw him out now?

Agreed. If benefits stop its up to both parents if they want to carry on paying for their "children"I'm never offended by debate & opinions. As a wise man called Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend until death your right to say it."
Mortgage is my only debt - Original mortgage - January 2008 = £88,400, March 2014 = £47,000 Chipping away slowly! Now saving to move.0 -
Famlies Need Fathers use to offer a CSA assessment process, but can no longer find the link?0

Hi All,My daughter is due to start college in 4 weeks time. It will mean that she will no longer be living with her Mother and will be living in residence at the college.
Will this effect my CSA payments? Whilst I understand my parental responsibility towards my daughter, I want to ensure that the money goes to where it’s needed.Thanks0 -
I had no idea that this thread had been resurrected, so thanks to all that have replied.
I have no intention of shirking my responsibilities to my son but was just hoping to find out when I can stop supporting him 'via his mother'.0
