Missed prize again!!

I thought I'd learned from missing a prize before to check and google my name etc but I've missed another prize, a meal and a show at a local hotel!
Half the winners never claimed so they've just given the tickets to the first five people to message them.:mad:

Thats terrible!! didnt they email you.I don't think its fair you have to google your name to see if you've won a prize.

It was fb. I messaged them and they said they do try to let winners know but if they're not on their friends list the messages just go to a spam folder! I left a message on their fb too. It's not a major money prize, but it would have been a nice low cost local night out.

Doesn't mean they have to notify you any differently, they can still just post winners names on their page.

I've had app ones where I've given my email that have still only announced on their page, or via a message that has gone to my Others Inbox...

If it's a prize you really want, keep checking their page.

And it's always good practice to check your FB Others Inbox daily as well

Incidentally, their messages shouldn't go to the spam folder on FB, but the Others folder... It is a poor excuse to say they don't bother to notify via DM because they would go to a spam folder... :mad:

I did not know there was an "Other" option for Facebook messages. Googled how to find them so opened it with some trepidation. Completely empty. For once it was good not to win!
