Front loaded interest?

I have / had a loan with Northern rock. It had £600 interested loaded on it at the start of the loan. I am obviously in appears with this and it defaulted.
Is there anything that I can do to see if they would take the front loaded interest off? Or am I now stuck with it?
Thanks.
Thinking about it, the debt is now owned by Marlin, so I guess they wont be interested....

WHy don't you complain about it/ If you're successful, they'll probably take it off what you owe.
They would have stopped any PPI payments when it was sold [if it was completely sold on]Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
