Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions apply to the #RACRoadTrip competition (“the Promotion”) and entry to the Promotion is acceptance of these terms and conditions. Therefore please read these carefully.

2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.

3. The Promotion is only available to residents of United Kingdom, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man over the age of 17.

4. The promoter of this Promotion is Coup Media Ltd (“the Promoter”) Coup Media LTD, 1st Floor, 2 Woodberry Grove, London, N12 0DR (on behalf of the RAC).

5. The Promotion is not open to employees (or family members of employees) of the Promoter, its agencies, its group companies or anyone else connected with the Promotion.

6. Only one entry per day will be accepted. Users can enter different images, each day during the week but cannot upload or duplicate entries. Duplicates may be removed from the app.

7. To enter the Promotion, upload an image that relates to the weekly theme. The theme will be set by the official RAC Facebook page at the beginning of each week. The image you upload must be your own. Upload the image through the Facebook app on the RAC official Facebook page or via Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #RACRoadTrip.

8. The competition will run for 4 weeks, starting from 11th July and running until the 8th August. There will be a weekly prize with the winner selected by an internal RAC team and a grand prize with the winner selected the same way. New images will be accepted weekly from 12:00AM (9am on the first day) and then close 7 days after this time.

The competition will close on 8th August, all previous winners, including those entered via the Heart radio competition will be resubmitted into the grand prize contest. The winning image will be selected by an internal RAC team and announced on Friday 5th September 2014 at 12pm.

9. The closing date and time of the weekly Promotion is 23.59pm each week (every 7 days) for the weekly prize. Entries received after the closing date will not be processed.

10. Weekly winners (“the Winners”) will be determined by an internal RAC team before the closing date. They will be notified the following day through the social platform they entered on and via email. There will be one winner every week until the closing date (23.59 Friday 8th August 2014).

11. The grand prize winner will be determined by an internal RAC team. The grand prize winner will be notified through the social channel which they submitted their image on and via email on Friday 5th September 2014.

12. The weekly prizes will be varied road trip themed prizes (2x PS4s, 2x £200 worth of fuel) the promoter retains the rights to change or alter the timeframe and content of the prizes at any time (“the Prize”). They must be claimed within 4 weeks of notification. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original Prize offered is not available. The £200 worth of free fuel will be given via a pre-paid £200 fuel card. The grand prize will be £1,500 worth of road trip accessories.

13. The Winners will be notified by email and through the social media channel which they entered on by the Promoter within 2 days for the weekly prize draw and grand prize draw and given details of how to claim their Prize and to confirm delivery address for the Prize. If the Winner does not respond to such notification from the Promoter within 4 weeks of the time of notification, then the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner (selected by an internal RAC team) and that winner will have to respond to the email sent to them by the Promoter within 4 weeks of that email being sent to them or else they will also forfeit their prize.

14. The Promoter may ask the Winner to provide proof of age and/or country of residence.

15. The Winners of the weekly prizes and the grand prize agree to take part in post-Promotion activity. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the RAC to use winner's name, photos and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

16. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.

17. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize and that are not specifically included in the Prize. All prizes will be sent to the winners 4 weeks after the competition closing.

18. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.

19. Subject to the above, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the Prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Promotion.

20. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

21. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

22. The decision of the Promoter is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence relating to its decision.

23. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

24. The name of all the Winners for the Promotion will be available upon request for 4 weeks after the Winners have been notified by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to; Coup Media, 16-18 Cambrian Road, Newport, UK, NP20 4AB. The Winners agree to have their name and county and their winning entries disclosed for this purpose.

25. The same person - even using different entries - can only win any of the weekly prizes once throughout the promotion.
