Sliced potatoes dried out! Can they be saved?

I sliced some potatoes for the top of a pie last night that I'm cooking today and stupidly put them in the fridge not in water and now they have gone dry. Can they be revived or used for something else?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I would fry them and make them into little crisps or if your putting a sauce on top of them they would be fine, like a creamy cheese sauce on top.GC July: £0/£1200

Yes, bring them up to a slow simmer in water or stock and remove them just before they cook through. If you're topping a pie with a moist filling they will soak up some of that too. Good luck!:money:0

Thanks. I was batch cooking for 4 hours last night but I'm new to home cooking and just forgot to put them in water! I've got them in a bowl of water now and will boil before putting the pie in the oven!0
